The key to success is to essentially manage your time well. Discipline your nafs; you’ve wasted years lazing and procrastinating. Enough. Grow. Be. Do. Be brilliant. Be amazing. Be great. Succeed. Stop being mediocre. Stop sleeping in until noon wasting your day away. Stop giving your time to people and things who don’t appreciate it. Go be great. Be amazing. Succeed.

When you havent been able to pray in a while and finally hit your forehead in sujood or open the qur’an and the words roll off your tounge and it feels like youve returned home and the cold outside doesnt matter anymore.
My current clothing style is a combination of “shit I’m late”, “shit it’s cold”, with just a hint of “I’m too lazy to look socially acceptable for you losers”.

Talk to Allah like He’s your best friend. When you see something amazing, even though Allah sees it, quietly mention it to Him. When you’re walking home from work, tell Him about your day. Tell him about your plans for the next day when you’re lying in bed. Tell Him about the dream you had, what you want to eat for dinner, tell Him when you’re stressed, tell Him about your family… just talk to Him. You’ll grow closer to him, it’ll be easier to make dua and it’ll be easier to turn to Him in both happiness and sadness.
In America you get more dirty looks for wearing a hijab than wearing a “Cool story babe now make me a sandwich” shirt let that sink in.
If it’s both terrifying and amazing then you should definitely pursue it.
Isn’t it amazing how Allah dislikes sins, but not the sinner, but He loves forgiveness and the one who seeks forgiveness?
I pray you marry a man that will listen to your worries with an attentive ear.
A man that will take your tears seriously.
A man that won’t be annoyed when you falter.
A man that will make every effort to see you smile.
A man that will put you above even his greatest passion.
A man that will protect your precious heart.
when will a man ever
